◆NEW LAUNCH!High-Performance Filter Media

ARSENIC is well known as detrimental element giving health damage and mainly contained in groundwater. Drinking water containing ARSENIC for a long term causes CANCER and ARSENIC disease.
The water-quality limit of ARSENIC in drinking water Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (JMHLW) states is under 0.01mg/L as well as WHO’s limit.

◆ Feauture of ARSENIC Removal Filter Media 1) Secured removal performance based on adsorption ARFM can remove the amount of ARSENIC concentration in raw water, for example 0.01 mg/L concentration in raw water reaches to 0.001 mg/L more less at SV=10/h. In case, containing Arsenite ion (HAsO32-) in raw water, ARFM can remove it by using oxidizing agent such as sodium hypochlorite. 2) Reduction of equipment ARSENIC is conventionally treated with coagulation-settlement process or ion exchange resins. ARFM does not require a coagulation-settlement process and an activated carbon filter as a rear treatment when the ARSENIC concentration is low. It makes the equipment for treatment process to be more simpler than conventional ones. ARFM can reduce total cost because it can omitted necessary equipment. 3) Reliable safe for health ARFM is certified the “Dissolution test” complying with Japanese Water Works Association (JWWA) and JMHLW, and ARFM does not elute any harmful substances into the treated water. ◆ Physical property

* We recommend a merry-go-round system (Two-ARFM System) of ARFM Tank. It can continue to be processed by one other tank during maintenance.
Two-ARFM System prevents ARSENIC leakage from ARFM Tank when it in the first ARFM Tank deflowers.
◆ Precaution for use
Filtration experiments are required when you consider to use this product, as the duration of filtration and treatment method vary depending on the water quality. We will propose the best treatment method based on experimental results.
Depending on the substances coexisting* in the raw water, arsenic adsorption may be inhibited.
* Anions such as phosphate ions and contamination of the filter material surface by metals, etc.
Please be sure to dispose of used ARFM in compliance with "specially controlled waste" regulation for your safety.
Pretreatment is required when the raw water contains turbidity, iron, or manganese.
We can provide a specialized ARFM Tank that makes regular maintenance easy.
