3) No need to control the residual chlorine
There is no need to control the residual chlorine since sodium hypochlorite
is not normally used. The capacity of demanganization of Chlorine Cutter
Mn does not have an influence to the concentration of chlorine and residual
chlorine (free chlorine and combined chlorine) like the contact oxidation.
The contact oxidation is difficult for demanganization treatment to control
the concentration of effective free chlorine due to a lot of changes in
case ammonia nitrogen is contained.
