Zeolite is crystalline hydrated aluminosilicate in a three-dimensional framework structure. It has excellent cation exchange capacity. In terms of ion selectivity of zeolite, monovalent ions are superior to divalent ions, so zeolite has a high capacity to remove ammonium ions (ammonium-nitrogen), which is very likely to be selected among cations contained in water. | ||||||||
